But did you know that you can download a file which contains information on the best 10 blogs in any category? This is basically what we are looking for – the top blogs in a niche.

To find top blogs in your niche, you can do many things like making search with keywords of your niche on Google.com, blogsearch.google.com, technorati.com Also spend some time on Mybloglog, blogcatalog, topsites.blogflux.com to find some top blogs and bloggers in your niche

Spend some time on technorati searching for hip hop related blogs and anything to do with hip hop and when you see the results that come back to you it should be displaying the most relevant blogs to that term you are search for so that should be your best blogs right there. Also just make a search in Google's blog search and you can find the most relevant blogs Google knows about for those terms aswell.. this is also a great way to find linking partners.
Tecnorati will be the 1st choice then I would do to Google Blog search and then set up a Google alert for that term.
