How to find the right buyer for your domains?

It is generally known that end-users tend to pay higher for domains than resellers/other domainers. The problem is, it is harder to find end-users who can buy your domain.

What advice could you give to find end-users who might be potential buyers? Parking your domain and putting a For Sale offer in it would let the world know you are selling the domain, but unless it's a really great domain, end-users might not even come across it. Most end-users don't frequent domain name forums as well, so listing them there for sale would only get the attention of resellers.

So what would be the best (and acceptable) way to market your domain to the end-users?

I always have the domains hosted and throw up a couple of keyword rich pages. That way the clock starts running on the age of the domain. If it is a keyword domain potential buyers can look at it, see that it might be available, and have your contact information right there. Frequently you can make enough to even pay for the hosting.
