Hey all -- I am a developer and can whip up some pretty innovative new sites in short order. The problem comes down to marketing them. This side doesn't seem like rocket surgery, but it does take a certain mindset. You want someone who tries hard & cares, but isn't afraid to push the limits sometimes. Not too spammy, but not too timid either. Where does one find these people? Then there is pay-for-performance. As this would be a remote kind of deal... how do you ensure the person is actually delivering the goods? And if you are only cutting them in on X% of the revenues (or $x per 1000s of visitors), what's to stop them from simply doing their own site? (I can't blame em, but I would want to offer a little something on top of what someone could do just on their own...) So DP, any suggestions?
