I'm wanting to know which keywords are the most popular in industry specific areas... for example if I'm a sports fan, I want to know which keywords are top in the golfing world, in basketball world, or in the sports world overall. Is there any reliable source for finding industry specific popular keywords?
You can use the Overture Keyword Tool http://inventory.overture.com/ If you enter "golf" for example, it will list the most popular searches with that word in it
ok, I'm thinking of it more for topic ideas. If I'm a sports person, but don't know about every sport out there... I'm thinking I'd like to click on the catagory "sports" and sift through a list of 10,000 sports keywords, then sort by search numbers so I could see which ones were popular. This should hopefully tell me which sports are popular and I could find more specific low competition keywords from there. I thought I'd seen something similar in keyworddiscovery.com, but I didn't know if they were worth the money.
