    hello dear,
    focus on the following points.
    - Write unique and quality content
    - post articles regularly, better is few posts in a week
    - submit your blog to blog search engines like technorati
    - get some links from relevant blogs.

If you want to check any page's pagerank, there are many sites that allow you to enter the URL and will show you the pagerank. For example you can use whats-my-pagerank.com

You can also install the google toolbar in you browser and display the pagerank of whatever page you are looking at. But then google will know every page you visit.

To Check the page rank of a blog, simply download google toolbar on your browser, click on to settings and enable the page rank option. Now you can watch the instant PR of every page which you click on.

Try the site in my siggy. Just enter your domain name and it'll tell you, along with several other good numbers (backlinks, alexa, etc).

If you're using FireFox, you can get a very handy plugin that shows you the Alexa and PR in the bottom right of your browser.

I can't post link yet, so search 'SearchStatus' in Google.

    Enjoy.

Smartpagerank PR part doesn't work anymore (not on some sites anyways), I suggest getting the firefox add-on or the google toolbar to check PR.
