how to find out who owns the publisher ID?

    hi,

in one of my sites, i noticed an adsense publisher ID other than mine. It must be on a rotation script because sometimes my own id shows up in the source and sometimes the alien ID. I am not sure whether it is my coder or my host ( both happen to be my friends, so i cant blame them unless i am sure ). so is it anyways possible to find out whose adsense ID is this? I dont think i should post his ID here. So please help me out on this.

And how does google treat this case as?

there is no way at all
because this would be violation of Privacy policy of adsense
but we know such famous accounts as
    pub-5676236325709660 is Shawn's ID :)

Well you could look at your coder and host's other web sites to see what publisher IDs are used.

If I were you I would ask my coder to look into it. Don't accuse him of anything, just tell him you can't figure out why more than one publisher ID is showing up on your site. That would give him the opportunity to either come clean and confess to you, or to go into the code and figure out how it's happening. It could be something like what ali-2006 suggested, and it was something you added to the site yourself.

Just remember that if someone did place that rotating publisher ID code on your site without your permission, they are essentially stealing money from you, since you won't get any credit for those clicks. Whoever did that is not your friend.

your friend or hosting friend should tell if before implenting their pub id on the source. only way someone can put their pub id on your site if they have access to your hosting account (or the person who designed your site)

Yea I was going to ask the same question. If you are using a nulled script, there is a good chance at the person who "fixed" the script added there adsense ID into to get something in return.

There is a chance to find out who that publisher is. You can use adsspy to reveal all the url's that particular publisher ID is used on. Then you can perform a whois on those domains or contact the person through his website...

    use adsspy.com

put the publisher id there, and it will tell you all sites that run with this publisher id...

    (should be helpful enough :p)

Its easy to find who owns it :)
Dont worry my friend follow below procedures.
But i use logic to find out who owns it.
use adsspy listed above my friends and check which pages has it pub-id.
I CHECK THE PAGE CONTENT AND CHECK OUT THAT WHO HAS POSTED IT, i also check the about section of website who manages it so i can mirror image that who owns the pub-id
    Or
Simply i type the website name in Whois and get the history of website n see who owns it.

The method i listed above is simple there are also high profile methods to get the more info about personality.......

    |Good luck my friend|
