So a PR 1 is better traffic or a PR 6?

You may also want to consider a Pagerank toolbar or plugin if you're planning on checking the pagerank for many sites very often.

EDIT: The higher PR, the better. I'm not sure that PR has anything to do with traffic, as far as SERPs go. Higher backlinks (and higher PR) will typically bring more traffic, though.

Pagerank does not measure the amount of traffic to your website therefore you cannot say a website with pagerank 6 has a larger amount of traffic than a pagerank 1 however generally you could assume that this is true due to the amount of backlinks the website with the pagerank 6 must have in comparison to the pr1 site.
There are other factors which would be included to see whether a website had a higher amount of traffic than another not just pagerank.

However here is a good website to see what page rank your site is:

    www.checkpagerank.net

I also advise that you download the SEO quake tool bar here:
    http://www.seoquake.com/

Its a great tool showing you the amount of links a certain page has and more, including the pagerank toolbar.

yea i turn SEOquake off when I dont want to check PRs and such. It is a pain to leave on all the time, as it slows down web page loading. I heard something along the lines that you could get in trouble from google or something? because you are constantly downloading their resources/information. I forget exactly. Main reason I stopped is slow loadings.

Yeah there you go. haha which I dont want, so I turn it off, as I always leave tons of tabs open in firefox. If i close firefox and reopen without having SEOquake turned off, it will load it for EVERY site, which could spell trouble.
