    Hey guys,

How can I find if my website is ranked on the SERP's for some keywords

I now I can just go through the pages one after another, but is there a smarter way?

    Cheers, :)

    Hackimos.

search for the exact keyword that you are working with and see the result. you will find it in the result page if you are ranked. you can also check the Google analytics to find for which keyword you are ranked. and how many searches are occurring for each keywords.

Smarter way is Rank tracker which is a plugin for firefox. This is the extension by Seobook.com. Smartest way is to buy market samurai and they have their separate rank tracker module by which you can determine and analyze the ranking process of ur pages....Regards

Just install seoquake plugin and look for info you're interesting in. You can also write your own parameters if it's needed. I think -this is the smartest way.

You can install SEO Spyglass and insert the exact keyword you want to rank for and the program will tell you if your site is in the top 100 sites for that keyword

I agree that Rank Tracker works fine being free, and that MS works fine...when it works. Actually there's a lot of times the soft has errors and they do not solve it really fast (I'd say 4 days in average). Anyway MS is by far more accurate than Rank tracker and of course, there are better tools than those 2 (IBP,seomoz, raven tools,etc...)

Search the keywords or anchor text in the Google or any search engine in search bar. Find out your website according to them.

Type in the keyword for which you want to rank for. You will see that only 10 results show in the first page. Go to options at the top and select to show a 100 results on a page. (This way you will be checking 10 pages at once). Use the browsers search facility and type in the URL of your site. Press the "next button" (arrow in the case of Google Chrome) and if your site is in the first 10 pages voila. Work on improving your rankings. If it is not, then there is not much use checking further.
