People say 8 hours of sleep is recommended. But it all depends on you. No one knows how much sleep do you need. 8 Hours is not necessary... The easiet way to find out exactly how much sleep you need is easy. How to do it: Take a week of from work/school. Spend the first day, don't do anything which makes your body tired, which includes using the pc much. At the normal sleeping time, go to sleep without an alarm setup. Record the time you woke up, its probably later than usual. This day get back to whatever you do usually. Repeat step 3 and 4 for the next 5 days (leaving you one day). On the last day (day 7), making sure you slept at the normal time, and not late, record the time you woke up at. Now recording the time you slept and woke up on ur last attempt, find out the hours you slept. The amount you find is the answer to how much sleep "you" need. To get back to schedule, you can try sleeping earlier than usual if your office/school timings are before you woke up on the test. Getting the correct amount of sleep makes you work perfectly during the day. If you sleep less, you mind is tired and you don't work very efficiently. If you sleep a lot, your body becomes tired and you can't do any physical work properly. So you always need the correct amount of sleep .
I just let my body cloak tell me the amount of sleep it needs. Whenever my eyes open up and if I am feeling fresh, I lift myself up from my bed, otherwise go back to sleep...again! Regards, RightMan
Hmmm...I generally work on 4-6 hrs of sleep with the occasional nap once in a few days...seems to work good for me.
All i know is 6-8 hours sleep we all require and i need at least 6-7 hours sleep to feel fresh everyday. DON.
For me 4-5 hours only because i do sleep in 11:30 Pm and waking up at 4:30 AM. Well normal sleep you get should be at least 7-8 hours a day.
People always talk about the quantity of sleep but never talk about quality sleep. 4 hours quality sleep is better than 10 hours quantity sleep. Ensure you have a quality sleep, then 5 hours per day is enough
Quality sleep is indirect to quantity sleep... If your environment is silent and comforting, 5 hours of REM sleep may be enough, but if your environment is like every other home, you need quantity for quality. My experiment will completely tell u the amount you need in ur environment. The solution you get will be the amount of quality sleep you want to bring ur body to the correct working!
sleep for more than 8 hours and get the "Fully rested bonus!" 2x more experience increase for then next 16 hours.
Oh my I only sleep 4 to 5 hours a day. What's worse is I go to bed 5 am T.T I guess I'm still not feeling the effects because I do exercise and stretch from time to time.
