Hi All, Is there any tool or a way to find out change in the number of hits through a keyword when its serp position changes. For Example keyword is free online games then how to find out the number of hits coming on the website at rank 1, rank 2 rank 3 and so on............... Please answer the question ASAP.
What do you mean? Google analytics can give you traffic stats on how many visits are coming from the targeted keywords. You can simply use that tool to track down your ranking against traffic stats.. So far I don't know a particular tool that does that automatically

No i don't want to know the number of hits by a particular keyword to my site. I just want to know that if i am going to choose keywords for my site, then is there any tool to find out that this keyword can give how may hits to rank 1 site, rank 2 site, and rank 3 site. For example: Top 3 sites for keyword free online games are site1.com site2.com site3.com then how may hits these sites are getting from the keyword free online games.
No Friend you are not getting my point, I also prefer google analytics for analyzing my site but google analytics only gives you data about your own site, i am talking about my competitors, who ranked at 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in google for the keyword that i want to target for my site. so if i got an estimate that how many clicks those sites are getting via this keyword so that it becomes easy for me to choose the right keyword for my site.
semrush is probably as close as you will get to what you are looking for, but you cannot tell the difference between Google and Adwords
I understood what you want. Actually, there is the formula for estimation the traffic to your site depending on it`s rank in SERP. This formula varies slightly from one keyword to another. unfortunately at the moment i can`t find the formula in my notes. If I find - i`ll write it here
If you want to track how much visits your competitors ranking at #1, #2 or #3 positions are getting then I don't think there is any tool that can give you exact results about this. You can not access the analytical database of other websites. All you can do is to find out how much daily searches are there for a particular keyword. Suppose a particluar keyword has around "500 daily searches", then you can get an idea how much traffic a site on #1 will be driving from it. But as long as you want to track exactly how much traffic your competitor site at #1 is driving from a keyword, this is impossible, unless that site owner tell you about this.
LOL If this is your secret then best of luck to you. Moreover there are many sites and tools like those such as "Competitor Analysis 2.0", "Traffic Estimator", "compete.com" , but none of these tell you how much traffic a site is driving for a particular keyword. They may tell you the approximate traffic to the site just like Alexa does. I don't relay on the results of these sites.
