How to find if your site has been banned?

As thread title says,

I'm looking to find out if any of my sites have been banned.

How would i go about this?

check the top keywords of our site if they have been gone far from the top position or search your domain url and see the no . of pages cached of your site if they have been decreased. analyse the Google webmaster also.

Search on Google with:

If you get results it means it's not banned!

 

type your domain name in google search, if you can't see your site that's mean banned. check google webmaster tools > Crawling, indexing information also.

 

yes,that's the simplest way.
but for example i had an website that i closed it (deleted all the content,only the domain remains) and after 9 months after that,i still get lots of indexed pages (1000s) in google if i search site:domain.com .that mean is not banned,but why the pages are still there

 

Google search "site:yourdomain.com"

If anything comes up you are not banned.
