I used to use Overture tool to get rough idea of what advertisers are bidding on keywords but now after it has been pulled out, I am struggling to find anything which can give me some idea.

Can someone tell me similar tool or how others are doing there keyword research ?

    Cheers

If you have an AdWords account you can do it for Google. Not sure if you specifically need Yahoo info (Overture) or not, but if not here is a tool I found in this forum that I've been testing over the last week and it is good. It is free which I really!! like. There are more powerful tools on the market, but this is free and gives me tons of relevant keywords with ppc traffic estimates, keyword search volumes, and ppc cost per click. It also has a bunch of seo tools included. If you don't have a Google AdWords account it is also free from Google at adwords.google.com

it works for me and without costing me a dime...which is too cool as far as I'm concerned.

P.S the highest paying keywords (for adsense etc) are almost always in the service sectors. Example: Legal, medical, etc., where one conversion can be worth lots of money and their is lots of competition (a million lawyers chasing the same ambulence)

There is also a video at: www{dot}ibizresearch.com/mlb/video1.html
