    hi,

There are tons of directories on net, and I am looking to submit my site in only few of them which are good (in terms of pr and less links on pages) and related to my site. Like if I have a technology site than the directory shud only accept technology sites. How to find such directories ?

Can someone tell me good directory of those directories which accept free links ? How is ur approach for directory submissions ?

    Regards

I highly doubt you'll find premium style directories that accept free submissions. Directories like Site-Sift and Alive Directory have great page ranks because they can use the revenue from link submissions to submit they're listing to more and more sites. They've found the sweet spot.

You're not going to get far unless you shell out a little money. I've been promoting my directory for the past month and have spent quite a bit of money on getting it into the top directories. My approach is to look at it as an investment, which it is. Spend money today and you'll get it back tomorrow.

Best of luck in your endeavours.

Skaffe and JoeAnt will let you join as an editor and obtain free submission privileges. WoW has free submission open every weekend but you must make a reasonable effort to comply with the submission guidelines or you will not get in free. If you apply as an editor read the guidelines or you will not be accepted.

You probably allready know about the directory tracker at my site, but in case you missed it:
    http://www.articletrader.com/directories/

You can sort the list by PR, and set the filter to show only the category you want.

    check out strongestlinks.com

You're probably not going to find a professional directory that accepts free submissions though.
