    Google is the best option for searching free directory sites. But you don't get quick result from it. You have to wait a lot for it.

    I think it would be very difficult to find out through a google search what directories instantly approve links. They usually don't advertise that issue to much as it means low quality. And why would you want to submit to such a directory? Instant approval directories are usually collapsed by robots posting long internal URLs for Hong Kong products.

    For the very best free web directories could take 3 to 6 months to get your link approved, up to 2 years for Dmoz. That's why they are good and free, they don't need your link and the queue is huge.

    Great posts. The links mentioned here are helpful. I've submitted my link to dozens of directories already. Some of the paid ones have extra features, and I have submitted my links to some of those directories, so I don't know if those are worth it. I mostly go for the free, non-reciprocal, quality ones.

    You can go to Google     and use some of the following searches to find directories:

    "List of directories to submit, Add URL,
    Directories, Free Submit, Submit Website,
    Add Link, Submit URL, One Way Links, Directory,
    Business Directory, Free Directory,
    No Reciprocal, One Way Link Directory,
    Add Website, Suggest URL"
