Hi fellow DPers! My blog will be turning 1 year old next month and I announced last week that I am looking for sponsors for the upcoming anniversary where I'm planning to have a contest on my blog. I've tried emailing some prospective sponsors but so far only 1 have replied and sponsored the event. my blog is exotic philippines dot info and it's a PR2 blog and have been a nominee for 2 well-known blog awards here in the Philippines. So any suggestions how I can find some sponsors? Again, i've tried the following: *e-mail *blog announcement *tweet *share what else is missing?

@ExaMike -it's either through products or through cash. In return I'll give them a free dofollow link or a banner where they could advertise their business or website for at most a year. I've got some packages that I offered to them with benefits. So far I just got 1 sponsor and I'm looking for more. Any suggestion to increase this? I've already done emailing and blog post announcement and I'm looking for more tips and ways to find sponsors.
You have to take the initiative to approach the organisation/company. Give them your proposal and follow up closely. Start by approaching the companies in your country, which are doing international business. I think they are interested to support you.
@ExaMike Yep! done that..maybe they'll reply to me next month since it's december and it's a holiday season.
