How to Find .Edu Blogs For a Particular Subject

I would like to give some tips to find .Edu sites.

While all the websites obtained might not make it possible to post a link or a comment, I still believe that this method is to be used with moderation.

1 - Go to google
2 - Type in the search box:

"your keyword" inurl:blog site:.edu

Alternatively, you could type:

site:.edu inurl:blog "your keyword" "comment"

The results might not be many if your keyword is nichy. In general, I find it better to go for broad keywords.

One of the query mentioned earlier [site:.edu inurl:blog "fitness training" "comment"] led me to find 77 results according to google.

 

Some good advice for a newbee

 

I used fiverr to get some great .edu & .gov backlinks, seems to have improved the SERP results for my site

 

Good tips, i used to find such links through seobook plugin but manual queries work best.

Alternatively you can search .edu signup page by :

site:.edu + moodle inurl:/signup.php

execute this quesry and you will find sign up pages of .edu website and you can easily create backlink to your website.

 

what are .edu blogs, by the way? I have found them in google, just blogs for teachers and learners.
