How does one go about finding clickbank products that will convert using adwords besides using the marketplace.
you can find the popularity and gravity data in the marketplace. Basing on this and your own interest you can select products to be promoted on adwords. Remember that if you choose most popular products, you will face a lot of competition.
This is where you have to test out certain products. You can't predict which products are going to convert or not convert. There are many products that are not on the 1st page of the clickbank marketplace and they get good conversions.
Clickbank products that will convert...well some tips: 1. When you choose a product, visit the product page, read it and imagine it you're visitor who has a certain problem (wants to make money to pay the bills, wants to be acne free etc.). Would you buy the product if you were a visitor? Maybe this tip sounds a little bit weird but many affiliate marketers forget to think like a potential buyer when they choose a product to promote. 2. Search for keywords that won't cost $1 per click...unless you've got 1000's of dollars to spend on adwords campaigns don't use keywords like: "make money", "make money at home" etc. 3. Don't promote scams! (scams like Ultimate Wealth Package, Data Entry Products, Forex Enterprise, Paid Survey programs, Getgoogleadsfree...leave these products for the suckers btw "satellite tv for pc" products belong to scams in my opinion) 4. There are plenty of alternatives to Adwords that cost less because they're not so saturated with newbie affiliates. Try the Yahoo, MSN version of Google Adwords. 5. Want to pay 1 or 2 cents per click? Than advertise through Adbrite.com or Adengage.com. You only need your own domain and a landing page, that's all. I hope these five little tips will help you to succeed in this business. (yeah I'm new on this forum, but affiliate business is not new for me
I always find the lower gravity, lower commission products convert best for me, even if the referral rate seems low (they could have been testing during the time the last marketplace update took place). Never go with an empty gravity/empty reffered/empty commission field product in the marketplace, wait for some marketers to sell the product first. Also, never market a product that has Adsense ads on their pages, this will cost you money if you market them via PPC and will only gain the product owner. Just my two cents worth
Thanks for some great tips, I have been a Clickbank member for a few months but never taken that leep, I think I will now.
