I do quite a bit of SEO content writing but my clients are out of the office today and I don't have much work besides some little things. And I've been thinking about expanding anyway so how should I attempt to do that? Does anybody have some good methods for finding good clients that want quality articles of 500-2000 words? Thanks for your help I have a personal site with samples at tylerbullock.info and everything, just need to figure out where to find the right clients.
The first tip I can offer is not to refer to clients as 'dickheads' in a public forum. For some reason they don't seem to like that. I can only assume that this is an attempt by someone who doesn't like 'tyler bollock' to cause him trouble. If so, it's actually quite a subtle trick.
He's wasting his time - no publicity is bad publicity, apparently. Let's allow the thread to stay a while, give the real tyled bollock a chance to reply.
Agreeing to this. I would add that a good client has a good demand. If you want some serious buyers - make some serious offer. You should make a good service, have nice and clear communication and do the work on-time, sometimes send to those who already bought something from you a discounted offer.
(I agree with @contentboss) Attitude is important and while you may have impressive writing skills,if your attitude towards your clients does not match your writing talents, they may go elsewhere. Politeness can line your pockets, keep you busy, productive and successful. Won't drive up your operating costs either.
