I work for a small website dev company in California and we have a new client who manages their own Google PPC campaigns, that is they did until some recent changes in the program that has caused them to see some significant changes in their paid rankings and their costs. We pretty much only deal with basic organic SEO and have very little experience on the PPC side (enough to know what we don't know!) and are looking to bring in someone to assist our client with their campaign. This isn't a solicitation for help, my question is how to pick a person/company to to help them out. How do I tell who is actually qualified and who is trying to blow smoke up my @#$? We are working on redesigning the website (adding more content and improving navigational structure) and don't want to bring in a person/company that will A) Not be able to help the client with his issues. B) make us look bad C) Steal the client. thx Edit/Delete Message
Have a look at www.whoisagap.com first. Use due diligence. Choose a company by asking for references, contact those references, find out what results they got for the client. Go with a qualified company rather than a qualified individual. (Unless they can demonstrate experience in your industry). The AdWords exam is VERY easy. Pretty much anyone can get qualified. Just be careful. Have a read of this: Outsource PPC Management Then have a read of this: http://www.isedb.com/db/articles/1625/ Let me know if you need any help.
