I know alexa is out there, is there any other websites provide ways to know a website traffic in public?

There are a lot of websites which providing counter services but thier clients can hide those features from public. This is the basic privacy policy bro. Friendly speaking, are you happy if i can keep track of the origin of traffic of your sites? ;)

I don't think you all understand his / her question. Unless I am the one in the wrong here.

I think he is asking for websites like Alexa that shows the stats of other sites so that he / she can see how much better his competitors are doing.

I must admit Alexa is not totally useless. It does help out and it has done me some good. It is not entirely accurate, but it does help with some things.

Damn you guys are annoying, you don't bother to read the damn topic nor the posts in the topic instead you just write crap which isn't related to the topic and has already been posted before, even in this thread.

Quit the damn post hunting and don't make me waste my time. =/

To be ontopic for a moment, Zinruss got it right, it's difficult to track the stats of other sites, Alexa tries and is only somewhat successful, you can't really use Alexa across niches as the accuracy of the stats depends on the niche audience. Your best bet is to ask for stats from the owner if you're doing a link exchange or something like that.

They are not accurate, but do help a little. Also, I dont think many sites will give them their stats just for a link exchange. Stats is something that a site wants to keep to theirselves as the sites doing a link exchange is most probably a competitor that is trying to get their site on other sites that are similar to theirs or something.

I have been very interested in some of the posts as I have just launched my own golf blog titled www.golfblogger.co.uk which is an inter-active site which provides all the latest news in the world of golf, golf reviews, my blog etc.

I have registered with some search engines and was just wondering how I could increas the nos of hits in Asia and the States? Any ideas, if so, e mail me at graham@golfblogger.co.uk

Ps. The Open is at Carnoustie this year, not far from me - this is an awesome course!! if anyone needs to a good travel firm referral, list of courses to play, on-line tee booking facility, travel links, hotel recommendations etc I'd be glad to assist. Rgds Graham:confused:

You got my question in right way... or may be I should ask more clearer to understand for everyone...

I am not asking to track my websites, I know about statcounter and analytics and using it.. I want to know other websites traffic like alexa if you put a website it will show some stats about traffic for that site, like that any other site is available?
