After submitting in the directory, how can I check in which page my link is listed? Do you know any easy free way to search my backlink from the site and also the page.

Most directories have search functions, which you can use. If the directory doesn't have one, browse to the category where you submitted your link and check.

Many directories have search options. But in their search results they are not showing in which page my link is located. To find the perfect location I had to check manually all through the category some times through 300pages to find a link. Isn`t it tiring? Please let me with which tool I can know in which page my link is present

In my case, its not possible to check in yahoo, as already my backlink has crossed 30,000 mark. So its quite impossible to search that.

Linkadage is a very useful tool to find out our backlinks in a site.
But, if you go through a big site, it takes much time. Bcoz, it downloads each and every page and checks for you.

Check the category you submitted to, check the latest links, search the site with their search function or google.

Use search if it works on the directory, or the email you receive when successful may have the exact location of your link included.

Go to Google -->site:www. directoryname. com yoursitenamehere

Space between the .com and yoursitenamehere is intentional, others are just to keep DP from making my example a link.

This does assume that the page your site is listed on is actually indexed.

That about sums it up. With phpld script which most use it's easy to include the category in the acceptance email. I like to do this as often I place a listing in a different category to the one it was submitted to.

Usually from what I observed most directories wills end you a mail after your site is accepted in their directory. In the mail they should be mentioning the category in which your site is accepted. Moreover you can also search for your domain name in the directory list.. that would be an easy task...

But most of the sites ask you to select a category before you are submitting the site.. So you must be knowing the category your site fits in :D
