I have been burnt so many times in the past by unreliable and poor hosting companies. I've had to move numerous domains and deal with poor customer service. To help others learn from this experience, I have written the following article: http://www.foxthis.com/web-hosting/choosing-a-good-web-hosting-company/ It covers main points of what to look for, areas to research, limitations, small print, reliability, and more. I hope this helps a lot of you when looking for a good reliable web hosting company. Also, if you have any other tips or advice yourself, please share it with us. Thanks, and good luck!
There are a number of reliable hosts out there. My article was more to help people find them than to advertise certain companies. It is a more un-biased (and therefore more trustworthy) article
There are many companies you can find on google but i find ewebguru.com it has more than 20000 clients and services are also very cheap
Hi, Thanks for the article we enjoyed your fresh approach. We have produced an ebook entitle - 'Tips on choosing the right web host and hosting plan', which can be download here. All the best.
That's a great article about choosing a good web host. If you need more to convince your purchase decision, you may want to download free copy of "Unbiased Web Hosting Shopping Guide" at hostwarrior.net
Thanks for all the feedback. I did think about recommending a couple of web hosts, but felt that the article was stronger if left unbiased. I might write some hosting reviews in the future though.
Its better to write reviews for each provider individually. You can write a list-like review and comment most important points...for ex: Uptime: ... Price: ... Features: ... Good luck.
Ok I am really about being very skeptical, but I think that you article will not save the world. Let me tell you few bits about web hosting...You can write enormous amount of information, but experience and long time business will establish web hosting company for reliability and recommendations. Remember that even if you make negative review about it it always converts as advertisement. What I can say is thank you for the nice article, but that article is also written for some purpose which you have I guess you only know
