I tried few link exchanges. But others dont link to my site after i link to them. Tell me a place with genuine people.
link exchange can be a dangerous technique and you'll more likely get penalized by G than any benefits. link exchange and link farming are techniques of the past years. I prefer by far to get ONE WAY links to my site and inner pages as well. there are MANY quality directories that offer FREE one way links. ( besides DMOZ ) Be careful - one way links is like a treasure, use them wisely and to truly popular inner pages that can bring you substantial traffic rather than linking to ANY page.
Well, now link exchange become harmful for websites now google don't link that kind of links so dear concentrate on other work it could be harmful
You are talking about one way link, yep, it is good. But one way links from directories? Oh cmon, you must be joking links from directories even are not listed in your backlinks list when you check via google webmaster area. One way links from relevant websites are always the best but obviously not directories. Link exchange is still useful, but it's just you who don't know how to use it properly. If you have some sites in the same niche and your partner also have some websites in the same niche, you can do so many tricks that Google won't be able to detect it, not even close.
