ok ,let's say my keyword is (blue fish) it gets 10,000 monthly searches ,how do i find out how much compation it has? how do i know if its a good keyword to go after?
Start by browsing this forum, I have seen many threads advising on how you can find niche-keywords and how to test how good it could be, matter to use the forum search facility on top navigation menu.
i will say its better to look at an area of interest first. it could be sports, music, news etc and derive your keyword from it.
Put your keywords one by one in google search box and then look at the number of search results at the top of the page, that will be your competition.
if you have the cash buy market samurai or micro niche finder. The software will tell you whether its worth a go in a matter of seconds
Well.... there are number of online tools available wherein you can search down the keywords niches and can get appropriate results accordingly.
I use a keyword tool to find the best niches to try and rank in. I have tried several of them and ever since trying my latest tool I have never had an interest in looking anywhere else. What I use now provides everything I need, it's easy to use and it is very effective. I believe it has already been mentioned but you should do a good search for it, it's called micro niche finder. Well worth the money and it's a hell of a lot better than paying the owner of market samurai monthly for something that should be a one time cost
Type 'blue fish' into the Google search bar and when you see the results see how many sites are listed on the right of your screen. These are paid advertizers and if there are a few then it must be worth their while. Update: I just checked and there a none, so maybe it's not such a great keyword phrase to target. Think of something related to the term and try that instead. Keep going whatever.
