How to find a certain link posted on some forum?

    Hi,

    i have a problem:
    Someone linked to one of my sites on a forums' thread.
    I entered the forum and searched for http://www.myownsite.com but i got no result.

    Does anyone know how could i find the thread that links to my site?

    go into google and search for

    "http://www.myownsite.com" site:theforum.com

    Hopefully this will work.

    You could also trying use Yahoo Site Explorer and the linkdomain operator.
