How to filter IMAGE ads ?

    Hi guys.

Recently i found that in one of my websites with adsense, Image ads are performing very well, much better than the text.

But i have two problems with Image ads.

    (1) I can't filter any, because there is NO link or website address anywhere in the ad. Also the browser addon for preview, doesn't work with Image ads.

Does anybody know if the advertisers MUST include a link displayed in the image ? Is there any way to filter ?

    (2) Many times the SAME image ad is displayes twice in my two ad units. I dunno why. If there a way to overcome this ?

    Thanks !

Just use the browser right click function and copy the link location (not image location). Paste the url in somekind of word file or notepad and look for the url located towards the end. Copy the url and paste in your competitive ads filter in adsense.

    Hope that helps.

You might be able to find the link (in Firefox) by clicking the tools menu at the top of the browser and selecting Page Info.
Click on the Links tab and search for a link with the name ads by Google.
On that same line the destination URL of the ad should be embedded in the link following pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/pageclick?type=5&redir_url=http%3A//services.google.com/feedback/...

This works for text ads. I don't know if it will work for Flash ads.

I don't see anyway to filter out ads and logically, you are to show what the publisher wants to be shown you have no power over how the ad will look like, But again there might be a hidden way that I don't know of.
