FYI, That code will actually redirect any visitors that come from search engines who do not have a cookie to another (high PR) site. Wave bye bye to any nice SE traffic if you use it.
It is done by redirecting the site's php header to another site. But, you will have to wait atleast for 3 months for a google page rank update. Instead of that, you could buy a domain which already has a fake PR from Buy Sell And Trade forum. It's really worth spending a bit than waiting.
people always check domain pr and i think not too many would buy a domain if it has a fake pr. In fake pr, if u use cloaking software it helps getting link backs to ur site. It is accepted by Search engine if really one's intention is that. But if you are caught selling link with fake pr search engines ban websites. And also it should be taken care that the fake site and the original pr site should have same niche or again search engines will ban the website. Thats what i learnt from the information i got from internet till now. I am not sure if it stands true.
I found a website which has fake pagerank but when I view the source code I can't see any kind of PHP code and can't understand how that they have done it... any ideas?
After they fake the PR and it goes up, they could remove the PHP Code, The PR will last few months I think
PHP is totally server side. It is parsed & executed way before it gets to your browser, so there is no way you can see what it is - even if it's still there. Jay
It is indeed, but AFAIK the thing used for faking page rank isn't using PHP Code as shown in the previous page.
You cant view php code in the source. php is parsed by the server and output to browsers in HTML format. The only way to detect PR is use cache: and info: queries in Google, or use a PR checker that has a fake PR detecter.
