I recently had a bad experience with one of the major webhosts that I wont name here, but yea...... Anyway, what I'm left with is a database of roughly 1200 of my 2500+ user website that was completely destroyed by said webhost. So what I'm looking to do, is extract the email addresses from this database backup that I have. Atleast, I think its a database backup. I'm not a very good web designer and usually contracted out all of the work related to the website. The files that I have basically look like html pages, im not sure. Anyway they contain user information, such as name, address, phone number, email. My primary goal is to extract the email addresses of my users so I can load the list into aweber and go through the opt-in process again, in hopes of creating a NEW website............. the old one is a total loss, other than this database I have. How can I go about extracting this data from these files? I could do it 1 by 1, but surely there is something out there to do this tedious task for me. Any help appreciated!

it looks like the answer is yes: Email Address Collector v5.0 # Email extractor for Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, MSN Messenger, Outlook Contacts, Windows Address Book or any local files. # Exports email contacts to the Windows Address Book, Outlook Contacts or CSV files. # Automatically eliminate duplicates from the extracted email addresses list. # Easily apply advanced extraction filters.
