how to export pages only? (WP)

my blog has more than 5000 posts, and 100 pages.. i want to export only pages, is it possible that i can export all of my pages to some where else or in a text file?

When you export, you export everything including the comments. I don't know if there's any plugin that does what you need. The posts and pages are stored in the same database wp_posts, so if you have the time to select which is a post and which is a page on the wordpress database, then I guess you can download the 100 pages without touching the 5000 posts.

 

hmm thats a good idea to select pages from database

but is there any fast way to change the name of author, cozz i have seen option during export data, its ask about author

 

for exporting pages only option is to import your mysql database table for pages.
