HOW TO EXPLOIT my FB profile to feed/improve my website?

Hi everybody
I have a photography website where FB "Like" buttons are available.
Since a year and a half I also have a personal profile on FB but I never thought I could use it to promote or help my website. On FB I mainly have old friends, relatives, friends of friends and so on. I can see some colleagues (I am a photographer) are using their profiles to market their work.
I wish I could do that but I am a bit confused on "how" exactly do it.
First of all:
-should I use my personal Profile?
-or should I rather set a Page about my work using my business name/logo?
-how can I spread interest about my Page/Profile i.e. how do I get to increase the number of people accepting "friendship" in my FB ?
More in general what strategies should I activate to make my FB presence useful for my business?

Do not use your personal profile in your business - that is my suggestion. You can create facebook pages or better if you use another FB profile to promote your business.

 

Please forgive me if I might look naive but: can I create more than one Profile on FB? And, what are the main differences between Profile and Page?
