of course dedi server is nice than VPS, but if u haven't more experience of work on dedi servers, don't know server administration try VPS !!!

both this hosters, ServInt and powervps have nice staff, and they'll resolve all your problems.

otherwise, know, that as minimum time of time, u must restart ur server :) (ask at first your hoster, how to do it ;-))

    cheers

Well, actually anything from Servint is Managed. You are paying for the managed service rather than the VPS itself.

Of course if you are familiar with server management then you can opt for an unmanaged dedicated server for less than that.

Actually, managing a VPS and a Dedicated Server is pretty much the same since you have the root access. The only difference is the physical set up as a VPS is a shared framework on a dedicated server. The only thing is that a number of VPS providers offers managed service near the cost of an unmanaged server.

yes, but if 98% VPS hoster give you good support and all your problems can be fixed during 10-30 min( have experience with servint and powevps,), most of [99%] dedi hosters charge additional fee to support.

If all vps hosts are full managed, dedi servers are semi, self-, full managed.

hope, u understand, what i mean.
