How to establish blog on existing domain -- PLS help me

    Hello Friends,

    Let me describe my problem:

    I have already a domain where I built HTML website with having 10+ pages before 1 yrs ago and the pages are well crawled in Google BUT Now, I want to establish WP blog on this domain So what steps I have to take to prevent from Google punishment?

    Why would you get punished? There is no penalty for converting a html site to a CMS. Just 301 the html pages to the wordpress pages.

    Many thanks friend for quick response..So I have redirect all pages to home page..Right?

    Is there anything else which I have to take care?

    It doesn't have to be the home page, it should be the closest match to the original page. If there isn't one, then do the home page.

    Alternatively, just install a blog under the directory >> /blog

    And you don't need to change your current pages also =)

    Yes, you are right BUT i don't want continue with existing HTML website that's why..Anyways, thanks for suggestion. Permanent Redirected all pages to home page.
