Hello I have a joomla site I want to enable posting from front page by the users. I am using 1.0 version It shows the add news link in user panel also open a window to post there but there is no category in category field. please help me about it
yuck to 1.0 if you already have a link on your site that says submit content then go to your joomla panel then go to menue and find the menu that submit content is under click on it and choose registered this will alow registered users to submit content, click save. if you do not have this option set up then go to your menus in joomla cpanel and at top clcik new then find the one for submitting content, click on it make sure you choose registered in property's, name it and save it and your done.
