How to embed a .pdf into a html page

I am using dreamweaver to redesign the front end of my site. There is a .pdf file I wish to make available to viewers of the page. How do I embed this file into the page***

 

I use iframes for this but having the pdf itself to show on the site is often not a good idea. Slows down the PC or Mac of many users at least for the time loading the pdf file.

You can offer it as a direkt download and alternitevaly also convert it to a jpg file.

Try using the "simple embed" tool from Scribd.com. It's easy.

1. Upload your documents to Scribd.
2. Copy the document's embed code.
3. Paste the document's embed code in the HTML code of your web page.

Yeah, you can use scribd to embed pdf to html or word to html...

 

Thanks for that info about scribd. I had not heard of them before now.
