So I am in Queens, NY but I also I get customers from far off Manhattan, bronx, brooklyn and Long Island so I wish to target those areas too, how can I best target all of those locations too please? This is my HOME page title and description: <title>Affordable Computer Repair Services NYC | Expert Personalized Services</title> <meta name="description" content="Get the best computer repair services at the lowest prices. Virus cleaning, hard drive replacement, windows reload, data recovery, mac repair, PC sales"/> Or is there something I can do within the page's contents to address this?
That would involve having many pages and due to duplicate content issues I am not seeing how that would be good for google? For example, I am in Queens, NY. I wish to also target Manhattan, brooklyn and long island, if I understand you correctly, taking my "data recovery page as an example, I would need to develop 4 of the same data recovery pages for those 4 areas? Why wouldn't it work if I were to simply add something in the content on my data recovery page like "performing data recovery for queens, brooklyn, manhattan and long island customers" ?
Yeh, you might be able to rank a single page for multiple terms. You have better chance setting up multiple pages. That doesn't mean duplicate content, they will just be similar.
Sorry not understanding. Please give me an example. If I have 2 or more separate data recovery pages, the same page content and info will be exactly the same, only one line would be different so one page would include "performing data recovery queens" and another page will show "performing data recovery brooklyn" and same for the 2 other pages for Manhattan and Long Island? Or are you saying something different?
Why does the page content have to be the same? Why can't it be re-written to be similar but not the same? Like you said you could target multiple terms from the same page but if you target 1 perpetual page you get your keyword in the URL. Title, meta, 1st paragraph etc etc, making it more likely you will rank. Best I can do to explain, good luck.
I think you should create separate landing pages for each location. This will help you get a competitive edge
Thanks, I will look into it, main problem I am seeing is that I will need to pay a content writer to rewrite the same basic content for 4 pages since I am seeking 4 locations and hope that google will not see the 4 pages as duplicate content.
