editing thread / post has time limit. if editing privilege is available then edit button ( Edit Post ) appears just below your thread / post. if you use advanced editor for posting / replying then find Subscription option at the bottom of message input box. select instant / daily / weekly subscription. Threads / Topics also have a subscription option. see Thread Tools at the top of first post on the page. One can also use Default Subscription method - available at user control panel.
