How to Edit this Joomla Template?

By mistake and I posted this thread in another category.

I m using Chromatophore RocketTheme Template. Can anyone please reply my following questions.

1. How to remove the followings from the home page. (at the top).

* About Joomla!
* Features
* News
* The Community

2. How to remove the Rocket Theme logo from the bottom and add bottom navigation links and copyright information at the bottom.

I found the following code in the index file. I want to know that how to edit this code to remove the Rocket Theme Logo and add the bottom navigation and Copyright Information.

Are you able to post the Index.php file here so we can look at it?
I have a lot of experience with Joomla templates, but have only worked with a few Rocket Templates.

If you could post that, I could tell you what code to remove to take away the image, and place in a bottom navigation.

While editing joomla templates always remember to make a backup and edit with joomxplorer

And check out the files inside the template and there might be something as footer too from where you can edit and remove the copyright. Make sure that you have rights to remove the copyright before actually removing the copyright.

I tried to access the index.php file but it gives me a Digitalpoint database error! Not sure what they is.
It could be that you cannot upload a php file in that way. Try copying the content of the index file into a .txt file and upload that!
