how to edit the "max cpc" ? in adwords, i cant change the numbers...

i started a campaign ,and is my first one,with google adwords,

and right now in max cpc it say : "auto 0.59" and wanted to change it to lower than "0.50" ,

i just cant figure out how,

also the "auto" is that suppose to be?

the last question ,how to make it to show "eligible" as right now it say "ad group paused"

IN the campaign setting you need to change the bidding to manual from Auto.
