How to edit PDF file?

I mostly use Adobe Acrobat DC but there are many "free to use" softwares available at the net.

any other programs ... I don't know
every time I did it in another program there was always a problem with file

We do a lot of scanning every single day and some of the documents have to be digitally signed by executives residing abroad, so we've tried several DMS tools in the past. Experience showed that the free tools are simply not enough, so we looked for fairly priced filing system software that rank high in SERPs Here's a list of the apps I can vouch for: FileCenter, Paperwise, NetDocuments (in that order)

 

I would expect free apps to not always be suitable for certain situations.
