    I get alot of traffic through Yahoo Answers. You have to be very selective of which answers you reply to if you are leaving your website's link and make sure it is a relevant and sincere answer. All in all, be good at which keywords you are searching for!

    Yahoo answers is a great way to promote yourself or your website! People could hire you for being intelligent :) or you can simply send people to your website and then monetize this website!

    You need a level 2 account to make links clickable. You can write a Q with one account and with the other, answer a question about a product with a clickable link.

    You would probably have to get people to take you seriously and trust your profile. It would take a lot more work than just dropping links everywhere. You'd have to be at a high level in your profile, etc. That is my view at least.

    yahoo answers doesn't have any money making model. Although u can use it to market ur products or services etc, but that doesn't make any huge difference as well.
    overall its for info sharing purpose.
