So today I was checking my Google Adsense account and I noticed I got 2 clicks. However the part that surprised me the most was that I earn $4.24 from those two clicks. So I thought to myself how I could attract that kind of income again with Adsense and I started to do a bit of research. What I found is that since I've intergrated my Google Adsense account with Google Analytics I can tell where the traffic came from and what keywords got me that high payout with Adsense. So I started there and starting improving my website. If you haven't setup your Analytics account with Adsense yet you definitely need to do it. There should be a link at the top of your analytics account to do this. Follow the easy to follow steps and you will be glad you did! Now go into your analytics account and click on traffic and select the traffic type. Once you've selected the traffic type click on Adsense Revenue tab. In here you can see the keywords that paid you the most. This is key because this is something you were never able to do in the past. Google Adsense never gave you this type of information. So with this information you can write new articles are are more focused on these keywords and therefore attract more of that kind of traffic and then your payout from Adsense will be larger! The last key thing that everyone knows is the placement of the Google Ads. Especially if you are writing on a blog or website that people who visit are technical in nature. These type of people notice ads more quickly and are unlikely to click them unless they are very interesting. However if they are more mixed in with the content they are harder to see and therefore more people will click on them and your CTR will go up! Try it out for yourself and you will see! I've changed mine multiple times and am starting to find it has help me a lot! Anyways - hopefully this strategy helps you earn as much as I have with Google Adsense. Good luck.
I have to update after looking at the google adwords tool and finding my new earning potential. I'd like to say thank you again for this advice! I seriously just found an INCREDIBLE high paying niche that I never would have thought I'd be able to compete it. Yayy! Thanks a lot...now I'm going to be up all night making a new site!
Nice strategy, Actually they have done great job by giving us option for integrating analytics with adsense, and that really makes your life easy for tracking your goals and conversions.
Your welcome. Hopefully you do become a top 8 someday. Will take a ton of work and a whole lot of years but I think if you work hard you can do it! I thought the strategy worked pretty well for me so I thought I'd share it with you guys at DP. Hopefully you all have some success with this strategy. Good luck making new sites all night! Let me know how they go with this new technique.
Well it will depend upon the keywords and sometimes also geographic location of user who click those ads
My adsense account has been integrated with analytics, but I seldom check it. I too have managed to get over 3 dollars from a single click. It doesn't happen everyday, but it does happen very often.
Yup it doesn't happen all the time. This technique isn't a guaranteed way to get you really high paying clicks but it does help point you in the right direction so you can get more high paying clicks. You are correct that it does depend upon the keywords and the geographical location. It also depends on the time of years, ecomomy, types of ads being run on adwords at the time. There are plenty of factors. The point however is that you can steer yourself in the right direction with this technique. Hopefully it helps some of you who try it
Statcounter.com has free "analytics-like" code that you can put on your page to track your stats, keywords, etc. It might not be as pretty as google's analytics but it works really well, is free, and offers more in depth stats in my opinion.
Hello boss.. Good Technique thankx. I have added Google Analytics code on my site , now am clicking on Integrate your AdSense account with Google Analytics.but there is showing is window.. now tell , i have to wait for 24 hours ? if not then please tell me how i can do this..
Yes - I would wait about 24 hours before I check to see if it is working. Also keep in mind that once in awhile the Adsense clicks don't get tracked in Analytics. I think this feature is possibly still in beta because there seems to be a few bugs from time to time. Good luck with the tool!
You are very welcome. These technique seems to work very well for me. Since I've implemented it I've seen a increase in my Adsense earnings. I am now actually making a couple dollars a day compared to just change before.
I agree, high paying keywords + ad placement is really important. congrats for having 2 click with that amount.
