The only stuff I buy on ebay is books. For everything else, its better to put your feet on the ground and shop around. Its more credible...
I use the stuff I buy Half the brand name RC/electronics that are sold in retail outlets all around the world are made in China. I can either buy brand name (Chinese made) servos from an Australian retail store for $20 each, or the unbranded/prebranded Chinese equivalent (usually out of the same factory) for about $6. About 1 in 20 wouldn't pass 'brand name' QC, but that's a risk I'm happy to take. So much stuff is made in China. Just because a 'trusted' company slaps a sticker on it doesn't make it a better product.
Well, crazy1. You can become a powerseller or dropshipper at eBay, some of my friends earn their living by using these two methods! PS: Kerosene, you're absolutely right, even the branded products might sometimes out of function as well...
I think the guy who started this thread wanted to know how to make money on ebay, not what you buy from ebay!
Anyone can make a decent living on ebay if they are willing to put in the time and hard work. First you need to find a product, something that is not already flooding the market, then find your supplier. Once you have done that offer a professional and competitive service be willing to work pretty hard when you are starting out. Heaps of people do make a great income from ebay alone, like I said it can be hard work but I really enjoy it. Good luck
