best way to earn more with amazon is by switching to a new affiliate program their payouts are horrible. if you want specific tips for amazon (can't imagine why), you'll need to explain what current techniques you're using
I think niche stores or just integrating related products in your content works better than a "general" store.
If Amazon's payout is as horrible as everyone claims, what makes them think people will keep using them.
Okay, may be the payout is a bit low, but the conversion rate has no competition. No other site on the Net converts as well as Amazon, if the product is relevant to your traffic. I have a page with Amazon and other stores affiliate links side by side and Amazon conversion rate is 4x higher.
I've really only dabbled with affiliate programs. However, of those I've dabbled with, Amazon is the only one that has converted in a meaningful way. My recommendations: - Go for niche product segments - Focus on high value products (but not necessarily electronics since commissions are lower on electronics) - Make sure you can generate traffic. From what I've seen, search engines aren't sending as much traffic to Amazon affiliate pages as they did a few years ago. If you can't drive traffic to your pages, your efforts might not go very far.
