Um, that doesn't reflect how these sites work at all. You earn through networks like Adsense or affiliate links. Again, clearly no idea about how these sites work. You can't just "submit your site." I have a bunch of clients who would beg to differ, and Adsense is still the best in-context advertising solution around.
this quetation looks false. i do not agree wd it b/c some times 1 click gives cents& some times 1 click gines dollars so it can not be said that each click gives 1 dollar or 1000 click gives 1000 dollars if ir happens plz tell me gooood luck thanks
I believe these sites are good for sky rocketing traffic.... dnt under estimate the power of hub pages and squido . if you think these sites only giving visits dn you are loosing a big market.... you need to work in proper way. you can monetize ur traffic as you want
I wrote few Squidoo lenses, and I must say that I was quite amazed by the result that I got. Not just the squidoo payouts, but those lenses, combined with good content and SEO, works pretty well in directing traffic to my website.. Still haven't try the hubpage tho'..
Here is how it works the best in Squidoo: - Make a page (lense) about a good product. Do your research for the niche first. - Optimize your page through SEO techniques for a good keyword related to your product. for example buy ---- ---- - Add CJ or Clickbank links of the product to your page. - Promote your page by building proper backlinks for it. If you do all of that right you will have a high ranking in the search engines and it will make you some money. The same works if you have a website but Squidoo gives you some tools to start making a page faster, there is no domain/hosting charges and no need for programming knowledge. If you were interested to join Squidoo simply click the link on my signature. It takes less than a minute to join.
Is it reasonable to assume that the same applies to Hubpages too? I would have liked to join Squidoo, but they do not take international writers. Hubpages do not seem to have this restriction.
Mmmmm. As far as I knew you could join Squidoo from the most of the countries. You might want to double check on that. However you can not write in all of the languages. The same method will work for Hubpages and personal websites as well.
Well guys I think more and more often- why do I need my own website with all coding headaches if I can use sites like Squidoo, Hubpages and alike to place my content their? There is no need to worry about pagerank, hosting, and gazillion other things to get visitors to see your content. Am I smart? Let me know your opinions, please.
Well, I've used Squidoo, HubPages and my own sites, and each has positive and negative aspects (of course). To make any amount of money, you need to be at the top of the food chain. HubPages and Squidoo are not charities, they take their cut off the top. With my own site I get the entire check. Sure, generating traffic is not easy, but neither is promoting my Squidoo or HubPage blog. Given all that, most of my time is spent on WannaBuddy.com, with a bit of time spent on my Squidoo and HubPages blogs (which are hopefully driving more traffic to WannaBuddy.com). Good luck! --John
I don't want to say anything negative about squidoo or hub pages... but whenever I search for content... I have 'never' come across any hub page or squidoo page. Seriously. Maybe it is the type of things I look for, but to me it tells me that it isn't as hyped up as some people make it seem. Sure it gets a lot of traffic... only by people that use it themselves in all reality. The average user doesn't even know what a hubpage or squidoo is. They do know what Facebook is though.
Hello Sarah, I have noticed that too. I sometimes can find squidoo on 3-4-th page, that is not a good result for anyone. http://www.write-service.com
