The secret is a "hissing, spitting, jeering, heckling live audience" which will make you a better writer. Full details here: http://www.bukisa.com/articles/304853_how-to-become-the-next-millionaire-blogger
Nope, the secret is being a master at writing AND marketing AND community building. John Chow, Shoemoney and the rest are masters at marketing themselves. They also had the advantage of foresight, they were among the first working in the make money online niche - many would say they created it. Sure, they all write well but that's really such a small part of their success. The writing site you promote in your piece sounds interesting and could be a great way for new writers to start building an online body of work as well as get their name out in front of buyers.
Copywriting is an essential skill for any would-be Internet Marketer, and in my humble opinion is often overlooked as such. I say this to say that millions are earned by writing each and every day in this industry. All one needs to do is look around at the avalanche of e-mail ads, video presentations, information products, blogs, and the list goes on. At the end of the day, we should be mindful of the fact that the Internet is a communications tool that allows us to deliver our marketing and sales messages to the markets we choose to serve, and that copywriting is what makes it all happen.
I don't think you can earn millions by writing. A blog is a venture, like a book or a startup, so it has an unlimited potential. Writing for a living is different, it can pay the bills but not make you a millionaire.
Writing articles alone will not make you a millionaire. However when you learn how to combine marketing, selling, and writing together you can. I am the proof of that. It is easy? NO. Others have also done the same in their own creative manner. If you think you never can, that will certainly hold true. Writing may be the key to get you in the door of working with professionals to show them a complete sales and marketing campaign that will get them the clients they need. So the true answer, is that if you master all three, then the only limitations are those you place upon yourself. Look at P.T. Barnum, he was considered one of the greatest salespeople that ever lived. His writing was carefully written words for skillfully worded billboards. The bearded lady, the two headed man, the six legged cow, etc. He heavily marketed on people's emotions. The combo made him a multi-millionaire way back then.
True, you need other skills in addition to writing. But if you're not a good writer, it's very hard to make it as a blogger or anything else online. Offline, it doesn't matter if you don't write that well - you can reach out to people by chatting, looking them in the eye, shaking hands. Online, you'll never make it if you don't know how to write effectively.
So you are communicating effectively! (off-line) Then it doesn't matter what the situation is, but the key is in communication.
I highly recommend learning from John Chow he predicted Twitter's success a good 18 months before it went mainstream. Definitely some foresight skills on his part.
I've had my fill of "Megapromise" headlines that insult the intelligence of the average reader by underestimating it. Only fools and naive or overoptimistic simpletons will read articles with such headlines, unless the article is written by someone extremely famous or successful. The headline prevented me from reading the article, good though it might have been. Well, John Chow spews his fair share of garbage like any other make money online guru. People should use their brains and not swallow everything these "gurus" and "experts" tell them whole.
So have I, but there is no promise in the headline, mega or otherwise. It doesn't say you WILL become the next millionaire blogger. It is a how-to. And, FYI, the article doesn't say it's easy. I indicated that much in my excerpt above.
These days, being a successful online writer requires you to be skilled in multiple disciplines. In a world where the quality and emotion of writing are often overshadowed by how quickly the writer can put certain information across, writing becomes a science. Additionally, the modern writer needs marketing as well as SEO knowledge.
Thanks for the info. I would like to try it out. Although, I am not that good at writing. But, I think, I can write some articles with the help of others and can resell them Will it work? What do you say? Regards
I can earn millions from my writing. Step One: Take $20,000 from my writing profits and put into my investing portfolio. Step Two: Take $20,000 each year after that from my writing profits and put into my portfolio. Step Three: Repeat this process for 15 years. Step Four: My net worth from this writing profits venture is now about $1 million. And we're trucking now. I know, I know, not what you had in mind.
Some people can earn millions with writing extremely effective sales text and having a quality product to promote. It's a combination.
