$500 per day is suitable for masters. I will not target too high in this july...I think as a beginer $100 per month is good. Be realistic blogger. I think the first step is making your blog to have high rank and good traffic. My blog get pagerank 3 just in one and half month. But I haven't been succeed to get money from it.

1. It is better to own your domain name and have it hosted
2. Content is the king and provide your visitors with a unique, authoritative and original contents. You should be the master in your niche and your site should serve as a reference to others.
3. Without traffic, all your content (made with great pain and labor) will go unnoticed. Try to pull in targeted, organic (search engine traffic) traffic to your site. Higher the traffic, higher is the money earned. In other words, traffic is money.
4. If you find that the income from a single site has saturated, start another site and diversify your business.
