With what you've told us, we could give you a gazillion different answers. In order to help you out we're going to need a bit more info then that. What's your niche? Who's your target audience? What are you trying to achieve?

There are many ways to get traffic. All depends on what type of traffic your looking for. Here are some methods.

Blogexplision - You view others blogs, in return they view yours.
Entrecard - You drop a card on their site, they come to drop on your site.
Bookmarking your articles - Digg, Stumble Upon and Del.icio.us
    Commenting on other people's blog
SEO - Many methods to do this, and for blogger its easy, add description tag and much more.

You can check out for more info on the above tips at www. fasblog.com

To be fair it was a very general question: you were lucky you weren't just ignored. The answers you got weren't particularly helpful for a beginner. Check out my how to develop passive online income article to find a list of simple methods. The key is choosing the right keywords though

Sorry Busa I didn't mean you we posted at the same time LOL

There are many ways how to get traffic to your blog. But before you decide anything, think about it carefully. What do you want the traffic for? Obviously what I mean is how do you want that traffic to contribute to your earning. But if you don't actually bother and you just want a visitor, then mostly any traffic source will do.

But if you think of what I said then don't waste your time finding unnecessary traffic. Concentrate on what's important. Value every single traffic that comes.

Just a brief steps that I've been using to maximise my profit potential:

    1) Create a blog content with a SEO friendly page.
    2) Make sure your targeted keyword density is high/appropriate.
    3) Insert ONLY one AdSense ad which is blended nicely within the content itself. Text ads normally works best. DON'T INCLUDE ANY OTHER ADS.
    4) Insert your own producer approved MetaCafe video in a prominent place.
    5) Put visitor counter plug-ins where it will show how many visitors have actually visited that page. Even better if it could show how many UV for that particular page.
    6) Insert pop-under which will display one full page of your best affiliate product (product page must be fast loading page, simple, direct to the point, and excellent design). Only do pup-under once per UV per day.

OK by doing so you will at least:

    1) increase your MetaCafe views. MetaCafe pays $5 per every 1000 views of your video.
    2) Higher CTR for your AdSense Ads
    3) Higher possibilities of displaying high paying AdSense ads. In return you'll get higher revenue per click.
    4) Higher potential of getting sales from your best affiliate product.
    5) Higher possibilities of getting direct advertiser for your page. (you should only offer text ads blended nicely within your text content. No banner as this will increase distraction and lowering your visitors focus.

With these method, you will surely gain back something from every single traffic to your site. Don't let your visitor leave your page without giving you any single benefits. This is a waste especially if you use paid traffic.

    Hope that helps.

Whatever way you attract traffic, remember its the quality of your blog that will decide whether they will come back or not. So first thing first. Happy blogging.
