You can get some initial money by doing paid posting at other forums, write some text and sell them, or create a blog on wordpress.com or blogspot.com and add some adsense there.

Buying the domain has another positive effect than those already mentioned. You invested money and will become more eager to produce success.

Posting on other forums as much as you can could help. I would suggest spending some money you earn on marketing; possibly for contest.
