i am new to website marketing.i don't have any idea how to drive natural traffic to my blog i want to have atleast 500 visitors visit my blog.how i can acheive this?please give me a idea.
For 500 visitors a day, you would need to write more content, add more pages, submit to directories, write articles and submit to high PR article directories. Though your blog will be automated found, you may need to submit to blog directories such as the ones found here. www.rss-specifications.com/rss-submission.htm
Since you now have 10 posts, you can put a link to your blog to your sig. That way every post you make creates a link to your blog. Also, whenever you update your blog with new content, ping it with a service like Pingoat (I use Autopinger personally). My favorite form of advertising is article marketing, by far. You can write articles on topics related to your blog, with a link to your blog in the resource box.
myself being a newb; my one cent observation so far has been if you have unique content, G crawls your site crazily (but need to wait n see if that translates to any traffic)
Well, You have to work hard , if you drive 500 unique visitor to tour blog. Firstly, do some link Exchange, Write fresh content, Submit to atleast 500 directory, Put your blog link in your sig, do some article submission, also you can try some blog post, as you can find in dp, they r cheap. etc etc, keep working on your blog, hope you will be sucessful.
Content, content, content, then market the heck out of your site using all the methods people talk about on these boards..
I agree, for 500 visitors a day you need good content so keep adding constantly, submit to directories (one way links), write articles and do social bookmarking. Ivan
The most important thing: social bookmarketing your posts (with sites such as digg.com) not only will it help build links to your site, good traffic will come your way.
I totally agree with 8everything... THE MOST important thing you have to do is Bookmarking. Bookmark your blogs, your sites, your lenses, etc... But not ANY Bookmarking site can bring the desired results. You have to follow a plan to bookmark your site/blog/lense to the essential (& killer) best Bookmarking websites. I went from 900 visitors to more than 30,000 last month only by putting into action my plan outlined here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=2877609&posted=1#post2877609 In short, you have to bookmark your blog to these sites listed, and get as much free .edu backlinks as you can. Make sure that you take a look at my thread, I guarantee you that you will be astounded with the results (and the money)... as I was. . . .
I would search in google "article submit". You should get a good listing of places to submit your articles which will draw traffic.

You need to submit your blog to blog directories and feeds, participate in blogger forum with your blog links, update the blog content everyday, submit it to social bookmarking site, link exchange partners and google adsense to your blog
It's difficult to get a high traffic in a short time except your site's content is very unique and people would like to know about.
how and where i have to search for article directories?i don't have any experience in writing articles .where i can i submit my articles for free with a link in my signature?if it drives tons of traffic i would definitely do it.
