    @dess71 I wouldn't think so, they're two separate services (the address being used only to access functionality on answers - it's loss would only affect answers access and not the continued use of the account for email).

    Answers is a different beast to backlink building in the strictest search-engine-only sense, and it's not designed to do that. It's a good tool for developing traffic by reaching out to people using an alternative search technique (they could be using a search engine instead) so needs to be approached differently (and yes, requires a much more permanent - and time-consuming - presence).

    First you need to have a topic about anything than you search some sepcific answer and type its right and better answer and i hope if you give quality answer than your traffic maybe increase so try

    I get a lot of traffic from yahoo answers and have helped other people get lots of traffic from it as well!

    Its nice because you can do a little work on yahoo answers here and there and your link will be available to find for years to come.

    The idea for driving traffic from Yahoo answers is also very simple. You just have to search that section for your niche or topic your website deals in. Once you find a question whose answer is available on your website in term of a tutorial, product or service, you can safely post a link there and explain how it can help.

    Yahoo answers helps you in bringing traffic to your site and you can place link only if you have achieved level 2. Dont place links unnecessarily, place only if it is important or else this may lead to suspension of your account.
